The Homeschool Village is hosting a Garden Challenge March 31-June 30! It’s perfect timing for us, since we were already planning to do a science study of seeds and plants, complete with doing some planting of our own.
We just moved a couple of weeks ago, hence my absence as of late. By the time this challenge starts, we should be settled in and ready to do a bit of gardening!
There is a little twist though. We’re living in an apartment…that faces northwest. Not exactly the sunniest, most ideal location. However, we have a patio and one window that faces west. Somehow we’re going to make the most of it!
I’m not sure what we’ll plant. Some herbs are a must, and maybe some flowers in planters.
We’re definitely open to any tips you have for container gardening without a lot of sun!
